Salchain's new 100 ton tensile
tester enables us to accurately determine the maximum tensile strength and
failure mode of almost all of our products.
 A
computerized data measurement and acquisition system ensures an accuracy
better than 1% and provides a hardcopy test certificate if needed. All
test results are electronically recorded and archived.
In line with our policy of
never-ending improvement, this new tensile testing system will help us to
further enhance product quality. Additionally this in-house capability
allows our Research & Development department to develop superior new
products and improve existing designs.
This new capability further
entrenches Salchain as Africa's leading manufacturer and a prominent
player in the world market.
